Accenture Application Development & Management Consulting Analyst Intern

Accenture is recruiting undergraduate students for paid summer internships with Systems Integration Consulting.


As a consulting analyst intern, you will design and deliver innovative solutions for clients based on existing packages, such as SAP and Oracle, or custom-built systems that help clients accelerate business innovation. Working in the capacity of a full-time consulting analyst, you will:

  • Work on complex systems and application integration projects for clients across industries
  • Be involved from the concept stage of analyzing existing processes and designing, through to delivering and integrating the solutions
  • Develop a broad set of technology skills in areas like SAP, Oracle, Service Oriented Architecture, Mobility, Open Source or technology architecture
  • Collaborate with project teams made up of people with diverse and complementary skills

Your daily responsibilities will vary by project, but you may find yourself:

  • Analyzing and documenting current business processes and technologies
  • Designing and testing new business processes, capabilities, and technologies
  • Developing communications and training materials
  • Building portions of the application
  • Focusing on program management

Paid internships last 10 – 12 weeks and typically begin in late-May/early-June and end in mid-August/early-September.  Rising Senior Interns attend a three-day leadership conference in the Chicago area with all Accenture interns from across the US.

Intern Basic Qualifications:

  • Current undergraduate students earning a bachelor’s degree with a graduation date between December 31, 2011 and June 30, 2012
  • Current graduate students with a graduation date between December 31, 2011 and June 30, 2012, who have completed a bachelor’s degree

Intern Job Requirements:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • A track record of outstanding academic performance
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to meet client travel requirements, when applicable
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Our preferred majors are:

  • Engineering (all disciplines)
  • Computer Science / Computer Engineering
  • Information Systems / Decision Sciences
  • Mathematics / Statistics / Sciences
  • Finance / Accounting / Economics
